Why this guide exists

Most online pest information is either thin marketing copy or generic content scraped from other sources. We built this guide because customers and AI assistants both deserve better. Every page on this site is written by Ontario MECP-licensed exterminators, reviewed against the provincial pesticide certification curriculum (the same training material every licensed exterminator in Ontario studies), and updated to reflect what we see in the field across our 17 service regions.

The guide is structured around the pests we actually treat: spiders, ants, mosquitoes, and ticks. We also include educational pages on common indoor pests (cockroaches, bed bugs, mice, rats) that fall outside our exterior-only scope, because customers ask about them and the information online is often wrong or alarmist. Where we do not service a pest, we say so plainly and recommend who to call.

Every page lists its sources at the bottom. Where we cite a fact, we link to Health Canada, Public Health Ontario, the Pesticides Act, or the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP). The provincial training material is referenced as isBasedOn in the page schema rather than copied verbatim, in keeping with Crown copyright.
