Our Treatment Product

Suspend Polyzone

Spider Squad uses professional-grade, PMRA-registered treatment products trusted by licensed pest control operators across North America.

Our Treatment Products

Spider Squad uses professional-grade bifenthrin insecticides registered with Health Canada's PMRA for use by licensed pest control professionals. Our products are suspension concentrates (SC formulation) where the active ingredient is suspended in a polymer matrix - giving them superior residual life compared to standard spray formulations. Bifenthrin is a synthetic pyrethroid - a class of insecticides modelled after pyrethrins, which occur naturally in chrysanthemum flowers. Pyrethroids are among the most widely studied and regulated active ingredients in professional pest control, with a well-established safety profile when applied correctly.

How It Works

When applied to a surface, our licensed treatment products work in two ways:

  • Contact kill: Insects that walk across or come into contact with the treated surface absorb bifenthrin through their exoskeleton. It disrupts their nervous system, causing rapid knockdown.
  • Residual repellency: The polymer suspension technology forms a microencapsulated layer on the treated surface that remains active long after application - repelling insects before they can establish webs or nests.

This dual action is what makes our treatment products particularly effective for spider control: they eliminate spiders that are already present and prevent new ones from settling in treated zones.

Safety Profile

Safe for Families & Pets

Once the treated surfaces are fully dry - typically 30 to 60 minutes after application - Our treatment products are safe for children and pets. We apply it exclusively to exterior surfaces in virtually all residential treatments. It produces minimal odour and does not stain painted or finished surfaces.

Durability

Weather-Resistant Formula

The "Polyzone" designation refers to the polymer suspension matrix that encapsulates the active ingredient. This technology makes the product significantly more resistant to rain washoff and UV degradation than standard spray formulations - extending the effective life of each treatment.

Registration

PMRA-Registered in Canada

Our treatment products are registered with Health Canada's Pest Management Regulatory Agency (PMRA), which evaluates the safety, efficacy, and environmental impact of pesticide products before approving them for use in Canada. All Spider Squad applications are performed according to the registered label.

Target Pests

Broad-Spectrum Efficacy

While we use professional-grade bifenthrin products for spider control, bifenthrin is also effective against ants (including carpenter ants), centipedes, earwigs, silverfish, and many other crawling insects. This is why a single perimeter treatment often reduces multiple pest pressures at once.

Why We Use It

We evaluated multiple professional-grade spider control products before settling on our professional-grade treatment products as our standard. It consistently outperforms competitors in residual longevity tests, has a strong safety record, and is one of the products our licensed technicians trust most in the field.

We're transparent about what we use. If you have specific concerns about ingredients, application methods, or potential interactions with your property or landscaping, talk to us before we start - we'll give you straight answers.

Application Method

our licensed treatment product is diluted with water according to label specifications and applied using a professional pump sprayer. Our technicians treat the full exterior perimeter of your home: foundation walls, window sills and frames, door frames and thresholds, garage door frames, soffits, fascia, and any visible web or spider harbour area.

Application is low-pressure and precise. We're not blasting the product everywhere - we're targeting the zones where spiders live, travel, and enter. A typical residential treatment uses a controlled, label-compliant volume of diluted product.
