Ontario Regulations & Licensing
Understand Ontario's Pesticides Act regulations. Learn why hiring an MECP-licensed exterminator ensures legal, safe, and effective pest control.
While homeowners can legally buy low-concentration domestic pesticides for personal use, commercial-grade structural and landscape pest control products can only be purchased and applied by an MECP-licensed exterminator under the Ontario Pesticides Act.
Under the Ontario Ministry of the Environment, Conservation and Parks (MECP), professional-grade pest control products are restricted. These formulations offer 10x the residual durability and efficacy of retail products but require certified knowledge of toxicology, buffer zones, and environmental safety.
Mandatory training on structural biology, building envelopes, and safe pesticide storage and handling.
Access to high-potency micro-encapsulated formulations unavailable on consumer retail shelves.
Full commercial liability insurance protecting your property and family during application.

Our flagship exterior structural barrier targets the full perimeter of your home — foundations, soffits, window frames, eaves, and all entry points. Repels and eliminates spiders, ants, and crawling insects before they enter.
A comprehensive yard-level barrier applied to shaded vegetation, ornamental shrubs, deck skirting, and property borders. Reduces adult mosquito and tick populations around your outdoor living space.
SpiderShield™ perimeter barrier
SpiderShield™ creates an invisible exterior barrier that prevents more than just spiders — blocking ants, earwigs, crickets, and other seasonal crawlers from entering your home.
