Spider Control in Rodney
Rodney is a small agricultural service community in the far western part of Elgin County, near the Chatham-Kent boundary. Flat, intensive cash crop farming dominates the surrounding landscape, and fall brings consistent spider migration as soy and corn harvests eliminate ground-level cover over large areas simultaneously.
Rodney's residential area consists primarily of older homes on standard town lots, many with unimproved basements and detached garages with significant gap openings at grade. Spiders entering through these access points typically establish in the dark, undisturbed areas of detached garages before moving toward the main structure through connecting utility passages.
