# About Spider Squad Spider Squad is a family-owned pest control business built in Ontario and operated entirely from Ontario. We are not a franchise of a US company. We coordinate licensed local pest control operators across Southern Ontario under one brand, one standard, and one guarantee. ## Business Model Spider Squad handles everything on the administrative and customer-facing side: quoting, booking, scheduling, payment, and follow-up. The on-site work is done by vetted, licensed pest control operators based in your region — people who know the local pest pressures, terrain, and seasonal patterns. This model exists because most pest control companies in Ontario are either too expensive, too slow, or too impersonal. We set out to fix that by centralizing the customer experience while keeping the actual service local. ## How Operators Are Selected Every operator in the Spider Squad network holds a valid Ontario pest control licence (issued under Ontario Regulation 914 under the Pesticides Act) and carries full liability insurance. Operators are vetted before being added to the network and must follow Spider Squad application standards. When you book, you're working with a regulated professional — not a general handyman or unregistered applicator. ## What Gets Treated Core service is exterior spider control: a bifenthrin suspension concentrate (Suspend Polyzone or Dragnet) is applied to the foundation perimeter, window frames, door frames, soffits, and eaves of your home. This creates a contact-kill barrier that eliminates spiders and the insects they feed on. Additional services: ant control, mosquito yard treatment, tick perimeter treatment, web cleanout. These can be combined with spider treatment in a single visit. Interior treatment is available on request — typically for basements or crawl spaces with established populations — but is not required for the majority of bookings. Most infestations are solved with exterior barrier treatment alone. ## Treatment Safety Products used are registered with Health Canada's PMRA (Pest Management Regulatory Agency) and applied according to label directions. Once treated surfaces are dry — typically 30 to 60 minutes after application — the property is safe for children and pets. Operators can tell you the expected dry time for your specific surface conditions on the day. ## Service Guarantee Free respray within two weeks of the original service date if you're not happy with the results. No hoops, no paperwork. This is a direct guarantee on the outcome, not a conditional warranty. ## Coverage Spider Squad started in Niagara Region and has expanded to 17 regions across Southern Ontario. Coverage spans from urban Toronto neighbourhoods to cottage country in Muskoka, Haliburton, and the Kawarthas — as well as rural counties like Huron, Lambton, Elgin, Norfolk, and Haldimand. ## Canadian Ownership Spider Squad is Canadian-owned and operated. Products are approved under Canadian regulatory standards (PMRA). We use Canadian suppliers and work with Canadian-licensed operators. Where spending can stay in the local economy, it does. ## Contact Phone: 905-935-7498 Website: https://spidersquad.ca Operators in the network interested in joining: see https://spidersquad.ca/contractors/
